About
The mission of Project Generation D is to supply high quality, comprehensive courses in creative technology for children and teens. Project Generation D encourages individual expression and allow every student to express themselves through creative digital art.
Project Generation D provides courses in creative digital arts including, music production (beat making, recording, turntablism, song writing), video production (directing, production, script writing) and graphic design. Students will learn the basics of each discipline and use what they learn to complete individual and team projects.

Using Rewire with Logic Pro, Reason 5 and Ableton Live
Rewire is a really valuable tool that’s now available to users of just about every DAW out there. It acts as a virtual pipeline sending audio, MIDI and even sync data between any number of applications.As there are so many applications that support Rewire I have decided to demonstrate it’s use with some of the most popular titles, namely Logic, Reason and Live. If you use a different DAW do not despair as the set up is extremely similar from program to program and this will certainly get you moving in the right direction.

#Ableton Tips
Key Mapping: Don’t have a midi controller for Ableton Live? You can use your computer’s keyboard to perform some of the task that dedicated midi controllers like the APC 40 or Launchpad can do.
To activate the key map, press CTRL + K (PC) / CMD + K (MAC).
This will turn anything that is mappable in Live to ORANGE. You can then click on any mappable parameter using your mouse and then press a key on your keyboard to control that parameter. Once you are done, deactivate key map mode.
Tip: For keyboard mapping to work, you must deactivate “Computer MIDI Keyboard”

#Ableton Tips
Recording Count-In: To set a count-in before Live starts to record. open your preferences and click on the “Record Warp Launch Tab”. Under the “Record” section you will see “Count-In” and this is where you can set the length to 1, 2 or 4 bars.
